Dr. Karen Chapman
the 2009 UTMB School of Health Professions Distinguished Alumni Award
recipient
received her Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of
Texas Medical Branch in 1988. During her 21 years at UTMB, her clinical
experience has spanned from early childhood intervention, pediatric rehab,
pediatrics to adults, and acute care to outpatient care. Karen’s specialty
is in the field of outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation and injury
prevention. In 2007, she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from
Simmons College.
