Software Download Instructions

Please note that there are 2 steps involved in order for you to be able to use the forms we have available.  Please read instructions completely before attempting the download.

  1.  If you do not have Adobe Acrobat 9 Reader, please download and install Acrobat Reader before proceeding with step #2.

  2.  Once you have completed the installation of Adobe Acrobat Reader 9, please click here to login and complete the installation of Acrobat 7 Standard.  The Acrobat 7 install programs do not always detect old versions of Acrobat.  Uninstalling all versions of Acrobat 5 and 6 is recommended prior to installing Acrobat 7.

Adobe has created three versions of Acrobat 7:  Reader, Standard, and Pro.  Acrobat 7 Reader is a free program that can be downloaded from Adobe.  It allows for reading PDF documents in Windows, MacOS, Solaris, Linux, etc. and in your web browser.  The Standard version adds the ability to create PDF files from Microsoft Office and other applications.  This version also supports digital signatures and password protection of PDF documents.  Acrobat 7 Professional allows for creation and processing of PDF forms and interoperates with Windows versions of Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.  Academic-priced versions of Acrobat 7 Professional can be obtained from stores such as Academic Superstore and SHI.
