Where to Begin First?

You should have or will receive a formal letter of acceptance, by mail/email from the department. Please carefully read through this letter and complete all department specific requirements.

Once accepted, all official communication will be sent through your UTMB email account. Therefore, you will be responsible for checking your UTMB email regularly.

To ensure that your matriculation is complete, please download and use the Student Checklist and Welcome Guide above to complete all university required items before you arrive for New Student Orientation and classes.

Direct all questions and concerns regarding your background check to the Office of Academic and Student Affairs via email at shp.academicaffairs@utmb.edu.
