The student will be given the opportunity to: 1) integrate knowledge, attitudes, and skills to clinical laboratory practices and diagnostic management teams; 2) integrate previous knowledge and skills with advanced methodology and the use of diagnostic algorithms; 3) build cooperation and concern in interpersonal relationships with patients, clinicians, and other health care workers; and 4) implement the ethical foundations of the clinical laboratory sciences profession. The student will be expected to work-up and present case studies to clinicians and laboratory personnel using knowledge gained in their clinical practice.
