Introduction to Epidemiology

The student will be given the opportunity to cover topics of public health and newly emerging public health content areas. Students will explore the organization of the U.S. Public Health System and the role of the DCLS in the implementation and assessment of public health programs at the local, regional, state, and local levels. (45 lecture hours; Pre-requisite: admission into Clinical Laboratory Sciences graduate program)
