Amber Armstead, OTR, DrPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. She received her Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch and her Doctorate in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Dr. Armstead has clinical experience in adult neurological based rehabilitation, physical disabilities across the life span along with community health promotion. She has presented in at regional and now national conferences. She conducts research on chronic HIV and health disparities.
