Biography
Lynne Hughes PhD, PT is an Associate Professor and the Director of Bridge PTA to DPT Program in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (PTRS) in the School of Health Professions (SHP) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). She received
a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from UTMB, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Health Promotion and Wellness from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
Dr. Hughes has been teaching at UTMB since 2014. Prior to that time, she taught at Angelo State University and the University of the Incarnate Word. She practiced clinically for 16 years at Scott & White Hospital. Her current research is in posture
and manual therapy.
