Beverly Grose

Beverly (Betsy) Grose, MPAS, PA-C, BSRS, RT (R), (M), (CT) is an Assistant Professor of Instruction for the Department of Physician Assistant Studies in the School of Health Professions. She graduated in 1981 from University of Charleston with a degree in Radiologic Technology. Later her education was continued at Florida College of Health Sciences in Orlando Florida where she obtained a BS degree in Radiological Sciences in 2008. Education continued with an MS of Physician Assistant Studies at Chatham University, Pittsburg, Pa in 2011. After graduation she joined Maryland Inpatient Care Specialist practicing in Adult Hospital Medicine. In August 2012, after a transfer to San Antonio, she was employed by San Antonio Military Medical Center practicing in Cardiology with specialized focus in Electrophysiology. January of 2016 she joined the Department of Emergency Medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Ms. Grose, a life-long student, developed an interest in education while serving in the capacity of clinical instructor for a school of Radiology and has continued to precept students for clinical rotations while practicing as a Physician Assistant. She has also developed a special interest in Medical Missions to the underserved and has participated in multiple compassionate mission trips to Africa and the Middle East.

She and her husband/best friend live in the Galveston area. She is passionate about gardening, outdoor activities and loves the culinary arts.
