Program Tracks

The CLS BSCLS program can be completed on-campus at the Galveston or online for MLTs. It provides an opportunity for community college students to continue their professional program in a 2-year curriculum. This opportunity allows students, including graduates from medical laboratory technician (MLT) programs, to progress directly into the professional curriculum (entering in your junior year) upon completion of 60 credit hours of prerequisites.

Your CLS education will include theoretical knowledge and practical experiences in: biotechnology, clinical chemistry, coagulation, endocrinology, hematology, immunohematology, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, mycology, parasitology, research, and toxicology.

MLT to CLS

Online program for certified MLT leading to a BS degree in CLS

3+2 Program

Combined BS and MS program for students at TX A&M Galveston, UH Clear Lake and St. Edwards University
