About Me

Rebecca Galloway, PhD, PT, GCS, CEEAA is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (PTRS) in the School of Health Professions (SHP) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Dr. Galloway earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Sciences, a Master of Physical Therapy, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Sciences, all from from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She is also considered a Geriatric Certified Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapist Specialties.

Dr. Galloway directs clinical education and teaches in Bridge PTA to DPT program, practices in acute care, directs PT at St. Vincent’s House, and co-chairs UTMB Local Patient and Stakeholder council for the STRIDE study.
