Chelsea B. Hoover, MS, RD, CSR, LD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition Sciences and Health Behavior in the School of Health Professions at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Ms. Hoover received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from The University of Texas at Austin. She also completed her Master of Science in Nutrition and dietetic internship at Texas Women’s University in Houston.
Before joining the department, Ms. Hoover practiced clinical dietetics for 12 years, specializing in renal nutrition for seven years. She received her board-certification as a specialist in renal nutrition in 2017.
