Kerwin M. Kolheffer, MS, PA(ASCP)CM is an Associate Professor of Instruction and the Program Director of the Pathologists’ Assistant Program in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences in the School of Health Professions (SHP) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB).
Prof. Kolheffer received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami and a Master of Science in Pathologists’ Assistant from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and is certified by the ASCP BOC. He served as a Pathologists’ Assistant in Surgical Pathology at a major academic institution prior to his academic career and has been involved in Pathologists’ Assistant education for over 10 years.
