Shih-Chiao Tseng, PT, PhD, CBIS, CEEAA is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (PTRS) in the School of Health Professions (SHP) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). She received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the National Cheng Kung University, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the National Taiwan University and a Doctorate of Rehabilitation Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore.
Dr. Tseng's research focuses on motor control and motor adaptation of human locomotion, acute and chronic neuromuscular plasticity associated with skill acquisition in persons with neurological disorders, and the effects of aging on sensorimotor integration for postural control and gait in healthy adults and persons with neurological disorders.
