Rodney L. Welsh, PhD, PT, OTR, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (PTRS) in the School of Health Professions (SHP) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Dr. Welsh is a dually-licensed Physical and Occupational Therapist who also has a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences. All degrees were received from the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Dr. Welsh has extensive clinical experience in rehabilitation and hospital settings with a primary interest in the medically complex patient and integument dysfunction. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA).
