SHP Kudos & Acknowledgments

Dr. Kenneth Ottenbacher

Congratulations to Dr. Kenneth Ottenbacher, Rehabilitation Sciences, former SHP Deans, Dr. Charles Christiansen and Robert K. Bing, and former faculty member Dr. Suzanne Peloquin who were named among the 100 most influential people in Occupational Therapy. This was in honor of the Centennial Celebration of the AOTA.


Dr. Frank Ward

Congratulations to Dr. Frank Ward and the PAS faculty and staff who submitted their re-accreditation self-study report to the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant on Friday, February 10th. We appreciate all of the hard work that went into the document. Their site visit is May 8-9, 2017.

Dr. Ward was recently recognized as the holder of the Charles and Mary Campbell Professorship in Physician Assistant Studies. Dr. Ward was also honored at the Faculty Awards Luncheon on Feb 10.


Dr. Dana Wild

Congratulations to Dr. Dana Wild. She was recognized as the holder of the Barbara Barton Professorship in Physical Therapy. Dr. Wild was also honored at the Faculty Awards Luncheon on Feb 10.


Dr. Camille Loftin

Congratulations to Dr. Camille Loftin, Physician Assistant Studies, for being selected to receive the TAPA PA Educator of the Year award for 2016.


Dr. Dr. Hyun-jeong Jang

Congratulations to Dr. Hyun-jeong "Joy" Jang, a post doctoral fellow from the PT Department for passing the New York State Physical Therapy licensure exam.
