Biography

Erin M. Cottos PT, DPT is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (PTRS) in the School of Health Professions (SHP) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV) in Richmond Virginia.

Dr Cottos’s teaching responsibilities include Lifespan, Pediatrics and assisting with the Global Health and Healer Tracks. In addition to academic roles, Dr. Cottos remains involved in Global Health Initiatives in Haiti and Mexico.
