Biography

Mandeep K. Sandhu, PT, PhD is an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (PTRS) in the School of Health Professions (SHP) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Dr. Sandhu received a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, India, a Master of Physiotherapy from the Lovely Professional University, India, and a PhD from the University of Otago, New Zealand.

Dr. Sandhu’s research focuses on exploring the outcomes of sports-related knee injuries and risk factors for the early onset of osteoarthritis.
