Office of Research

The SHP Office of Research (SHP-OR) is committed to enhancing and expanding the value and impact of SHP’s research portfolio. The office supports the engagement of all SHP faculty members across a breadth of scholarship and research activities. We provide comprehensive and strategic services and resources for optimizing and advancing research and scholarship. These include education and training in grantsmanship, dissemination, building sustainable collaborations and mentoring networks, and all aspects of grant administration.

Faculty in SHP interested in developing and applying for a funding opportunity should contact the Office of Research to access resources and support, and to ensure all administrative aspects are appropriately addressed.

The School of Health Professions announced a new Strategic Plan in 2021 with an emphasis on research activity, seeking to capitalize on the strength of scholarly activities to improve healthcare education, knowledge, and practice. The mission of the Office of Research (SHP-OR) is to optimize research and scholarly activities of SHP through the provision of strategic services and resources for faculty and stakeholders.
