SHP Stellar Performance Awards

SHP Stellar Performance Awards represent values emphasized at our school, including Professionalism, Leadership, Innovation, Service, and Excellence. We recognize SHP administrative professionals for exemplifying these values and going above and beyond in carrying out the mission of the School of Health Professions.

The AY 2023-2024 award recipients were:

  • Lana Long - Customer Service Award
  • Johanna Murton - Team Award
  • Lenora Amey - Innovation/Process Improvement Award  
  • Robyn Williams - Leadership/Initiative Award
  • Tina-Marie Patterson - Administrative Professional/Staff Member of The Year Award

The mission of the SHP Administrative Professionals of the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) School of Health Professions (SHP) at Galveston is to provide support and a voice for its members in matters of policy, areas of professional development and personal issues. The SHP Administrative Professionals also provide mechanisms for communication with administrators, faculty, and students.
